Easy Transfer Problem Scanning system

I keep getting an error the Easy transfer has an error scanning my old
computer... and then it shuts down...

What do I do now? I have tried re-installing a couple of times.. No help.

I have the Belkin cable and am ransfering between a XP machine that is up to
date on software updates and a new vists home Premium machine..

Any help would be appreciated...
