I set up the page file on another drive and set a small one on C:\ for
emergency use of 2MB-50MB. I don't see pagefile.sys at all in C:\. Is
windows using the larger pagefile on G:\ before it will use the small one on
C:\ if needed? Thanks.

I think Windows requests a pagefile transfer and then the first pagefile
that responds is the one that gets used.
That way the pagefile on the fastest drive would get used first.

You can monitor pagefile usage with the Performance Monitor.
It can monitor current usage and maximum usage as a percentage of the
available pagefile space for each pagefile in the system.

Yes. 9 times out of 10 the small one on C: will never be created .. but
it's 'virtually there' is WinXP decides it needs it.
