Easy method to deloy printer drivers to PC's using GP

I am not sure if I am on the right track. I would like to
find an easy method to deploy printers to desktop clients
(running XP). Instead of manually going around 2 each
desktop and installing drivers....I would like to "push"
the drivers down the desktop. Should I use group policy
to do this? Should I just ghost the drivers - pre-
installed? We arent talking a huge number of printers
and/or a HUGE number of desktop clients. Just trying to
make admin easier.

Any other suggestions, tips, or expertise is greatly
appreciated!!

Thank you.

If you load the drivers to the printer server, they are auto-deployed when the
user attempts to print. To add additional drivers, on the Sharing tab, click
Additional Drivers.

Jerry,

Thank you for replying. I have been to your site several
times and it has been very helpful. I appreciate the
links. However, the project I am working on is really
a "lockdown" of the desktops using group policy. Along
with I am trying to make administration a little bit
easier. I am ghosting the desktops with custom
images....as a part of this...I'd like to assign specific
printers to specific users. There should be a way to have
the printer push down to the client desktops as soon as
the users logs in for the first time. If for some reason
the printer is lost during use of the client desktop....I
should be able to push the printer back to the desktop.

I guess I could create an image with the printers already
installed, however I am just thinking of other ways.
Trying to save myself from going around to each desktop
to install printers invidually.

Thanks again.
