easy learning guide for windows 2000

I am extremely new with computers. I am looking for a
book or training material on windows 2000. Exercises
would be helpful also.

Windows 2000 Pro (The Missing Manual) by Sharon Crawford
(Pogue Press/O'Reilly ISBN=0-59600-010-3) is not a bad
reference for beginners. It walks you through a lot of
concepts and explains what is going on without getting too
technical. If you have an Ollie's Bargain Outlet store
near where you live, go to their book section. They have
a ton of reference material for computers.
 
did you look at the built in Help?

click on any blank space on the desktop and then press F1...
....browsing through the "Contents" tab in the left hand pane will reveal a
host of basic information.
