Easy Creator 6 platinum did not recognize DVD burner

After reinstall windows XP SP2,
o Easy Creator 6 platinum did not recognize DVD burner.
o If there is no DVD disk in the driver then Explorer indicates DVD burner
but if there is a DVD disk in the driver then Explorer indicates as CD drive.

Please help

Yes, I did. One interested thing is I install a free DVD burner software
"Imageburn" and "Imageburn" software recognizes DVD burner but I would like
to use my Roxio ver 6
