Hi
I've upgraded from Express to Outlook and my e-mails images are no longer
viewed inline. How do I see my images?

First, Outlook is not an upgrade from Outlook Express. They're two
completely unrelated programs, despite the word "Outlook" shared in their
titles. Second, Outlook does not have the ability to view attachments
inline. The only way you'll see pictures inline is if the sender composes
the message in HTML and embeds the pictures.

Thanks for responding Brian.

From my point of view I upgraded because I paid money - but I don't know
what's technically correct.

So how do I see the images? At the moment I can click on them, but Fireworks
is opened and I have to do this for each image. This seems like a real pain.
What does everyone else do?

Everyone opens them one at a time. That's how Outlook works.

If you use Fireworks to view simple images then you are asking for trouble -
it takes too long to load. If you are using XP then it comes with a good
default viewer - use that, or search for a free light 3rd party viewer that
will load quickly.

If this bothers you you could consider a third party tool like the Outlook
Picture Viewer (www.OutlookPictureViewer.com). It lets you just click on one
image and skip to the rest.

Most people just click on each one however - you get used to it.
