e-mails with photos open in Itune versus photo software?

When I attempt to open a jpeg file attached to an e-mail, it always opens my
Itune, how can I correct this. I have photo software that was my default for
jpeg. Thanks

Actually it is Explorer->Tools>Folder Options->File Types

You can also do this from Control Panel->Folder Options->File types.
