e-mails not being delivered

My outlook outgoing e-mails are not being sent although they show up in sent,
no one is receiving them.
We set up a new profile, moved everything to that user and it worked for a
day. That is until I loaded all of my other things, i.e. ipac hand held and
blackberry programs.
I have had all of these "things" since September and the problem with
outgoing mail started in December. I downloaded another program and used
that but really like outlook better. Help.

Are these Internet messages? Enable logging (Tools>Options>Other>Advanced
Options>Enable logging) and then post the contents of the log so we can see
if, in fact, the messages are actually leaving your machine.

Okay, I've done that. Sent out a test to you and 2 to myself at another
address. Where do I find the log? and Hop to I add that to these messages?

%Temp%. Just enter "%Temp%" in the address bar of Windows Explorer or click
Start>Run and enter that string (without the quotes, of course), in the Open
line. Click OK.

The file itself ic called Opmlog.log
and Hop to I add that to
these messages?

Cut-and-paste or use a real newsreader and attach.

There is no file called Opmlog.log I did a search
I double checked to make sure I had logging on.
I went to the temp file and found this
C:\DOCUME~1\IDCOFF~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\outlook logging
but there was nothing there.

Okay, I went through the whole process again. Yeah! I found the Opmlog.log
(attached) I sent 3 e-mails 1 to my idcoffice and 2 to my other e-mails.
Nothing received. Log follows

Proof that all three of your messages left your machine and are on the mail
server.

I know that that is suppose to be the truth. However, no one gets them, they
are out there in cyberspace somewhere and I have sent hundreds of tests to
myself, I neither get them on my blackberry or on my other computer. I have
checked with my service provider and they are not there.
Yet....when I use Mozilla Thunderbird all my messages arrive at their
destination.
I hired a consultant who was here for 3 hours and he could not figure it out
but does agree with me that the messages are not being delivered.
Thanks for your help anyway.

Brian's right - the messages have been delivered to your ISP's server and
it's now their server's responsibility to deliver them to their
destinations. You should have your ISP help you figure out what's
happening - send them the logs you posted here as proof that they have
accepted the messages for delivery.

My guess is that an overly-enthusiastic spam filter is blocking them.
Outlook 2003 does not include the Message-Id field in messages it sends,
which some spam filters object to...

I've been on the phone with the ISP and they say they are not out there.
Also why would a spam filter keep a message from being delivered from outlook
when the same message can be received by those same people when its from
another program?

Again, thanks. I'll try it again for personal use but sure can't use it for
business.

Take your log to your provider and show them the proof that they are getting
the messages and then losing them. Then demand they fix the problem or they
won't get paid until they do.

They should have logs showing the connection from your machine and the
reception of the messages.

As Jeff said, Outlook is not including the (optional) Message-ID header.
Most SMTP clients do, although it's not required that they do. Perhaps your
ISP is dropping the mesages because they contain no Message-ID header.
Discuss that with your ISP.

Okay. You've all been great. I will give them a call today.
