e-mailing a presentation

When I e-mail a presentation to a colleague, the formatting of the slides
some times changes. For instance, the headings are no longer centred, they
change to left aligned etc. so when they open the presentation, they have to
change the formatting back.

Any idea why this happens and can we do anything to stop it?

Thank you.

Are you sure they're changing to left-aligned? It may just be a font
substitution that makes it look that way.

If your presentation uses fonts that I don't have on my computer, when I open
the PPT, other fonts will be substituted for the ones I don't have. That can
make all the text formatting go WAY off.

Have them open the file then choose Format, Replace Fonts.
In the upper of the two list boxes, have them look for any fonts with a ? next
to them. If there are any, that's likely your problem.
