e-mail to fax

Microsoft outlook's address bar recognizes fax numbers, this means that, when
you are selecting an e-mail address from the address bar, outlook brings up
the contacts from your contacts folder tha have either an e-mail address or a
fax number; The question is: Is it possible to send a plain text e-mail to a
fax machine and how?

You would need a fax modem connect to a phone line on your machine and would have to install and configure fax software that integrates with Outlook. There are also some third-party fax services, such as eFax and Venali that offer faxing over the Internet and strong Outlook integration.
