Hard to say; since when do you have this issue?
Tried restarting your computer already? (just to be sure)

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
scanner. For more details see;

As an alternative you could also try the current BETA version of the Outlook
Connector. While it may be called BETA, it is behaving very stable for me
and solves quite a few know connection issues. You can download it here;
