How can I change the spell check from the american to English spelling. I am
sick of being told I have spelt something wrong when I havent. eg.
neighbour, flavour, colour etc.

Upgrade to Windows Live Mail. It has spell check in English ( United
Kingdom ).

Windows Mail relies on English (US) as its spell checking language and that
is the only English version available. Your only other option is to download
Windows Live Mail. In previous versions of Windows Live Mail it was
necessary to manually hack the language so that you could spell check in
British English, but the latest version of WLM doesn't require this, you can
set United Kingdom spelling to default from the 'spelling' tab of the
options menu.

Incidentally the next version of Windows, Windows 7 will not have Windows
Mail installed, instead Microsoft are relying upon people migrating to
Windows Live Mail.
