e-mail name is incorrect so i can't get out for help

please help me i an a novis and have no one to help me-
i have typed this several times and i always get wrong
address of which i typed it wrong when setting up my e-
mail---windowsxp on outlook express--nancy

Oh dear! I'm not sure if you're referring to your newsgroup accounts or your
e-mail accounts. In any case, go to the Tools menu and click on the Accounts
line. Select an account and use the Properties button. You should see a
space to enter your return e-mail address.

Please, please, please, don't use your real e-mail address for your
newsgroup account. If you do, you will be pursued by Spam the rest of your
life. It's OK for the e-mail account.

What he means is... enter insert words like "DELETE_THIS_BIT" somewhere in
your email address so that only humans (and not computers) can work out the
real address.
