e-mail-doesn't indicate if I replied

On my prior version of outlook, received messages indicated whether I had
replied or forwarded the message on a banner at the top. That is not the
case with Outlook 2003. How can I turn this very useful feature on?

I have the same problem anf cannot seem to turn on this feature. I would
really like to have a solution to this problem.
