e-mail disappearing

After reading my e-mail, I X out to return to my inbox and the e-mail that I
was just reading disappears. I look in the deleted e-mail, but it is not
there either. I thought when you are done reading an e-mail and X out to
return to inbox, that e-mail should still be in the inbox until you delete
it. Please Help!!

Outlook View is set to view unread messages only. Outlook hides it after you
read the email. You gotta change Outlook view to view "Messages".
