E:\autorun.exe is not a valid Win32 application

autoplay.exe is not a valid Win32 application
when ever i try to play any sims or command and conquer game i get this
error message.
i even bought brand new discs and i still get the same message.
these games used to work now they dont.
i ran it in safe mode and it says the administrator will not allow this to
be installed or read or something like that.
I have tried everything.
please help
 
Sounds like you dont have administrator rights enabled for your user profile.

Go to control panel users to enable this and then you may have some joy
enabling/configuring the drive to install or autorun.
