I just installed an 2nd 200GB SATA hard drive. I formated it as a Dynamic
instead of Basic. In fact I have no plan to use software RAID, and I just 2
hard drive seperately. Now I want to convert it back to Basic, will I lost
the information that I saved on this HD after it converts?

Once you convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk, the dynamic volumes
cannot be changed back to partitions. You must first delete all dynamic
volumes on the disk and then convert the dynamic disk back to a basic disk.
If you want to keep your data, you must first back up the data or move it
to another volume.
