My data fits on the label with no problems, but the Dymo still prints out 3
blanks after printing out the correct label. I'm pulling my hair out!!
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Dear Shark:

My manual Dymo requires you space before cutting, or it will cut inside what
was just printed. Could this be it? Is it a function of the Dymo? May you
should be asking them as well as here.

Dear Tucsonshark:

I use a Dymo Label printer with my application... I can try to help!

Printer is set up to print "Landscape".
Columns set to "1"
Rowspacing set to "0"

Do those settings match up with what you have?

Hi Fred,
Yes, I set it up with those specifications. I've corresponded with Dymo and
they said it's a function of Access that tries to print 4 labels when I only
have data on 1. If I go to File and print and tell it to print page 1 only,
then it's fine. But, I have a bunch of labels I want to print and it's going
to print 1 with data, 3 blank for all of them. I just can't figure out what
is causing it. I'm printing directly from Access, not through the Dymo
software directly.
Any ideas?

Just to add to Fred and Tom's suggestions - if a Report's blank
background is even the tiniest bit outside the defined Margins for the
print page, you'll get blank pages. Snug the dotted grey background
down tightly around the controls on the report's design window, and
doublecheck on File... Page Setup that the paper size matches the size
of the Dymo label you're using, and set the margins properly. Note
that if the Report is 1" x 2", and the label size is 1" x 2", you're
*outside the margins* unless you have the top, left, right, and bottom
margins all set to 0!

Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I changed the size of the label in design view, but I still had 2 labels
instead of 1. So I went into Page setup and changed with width of the column
from 3.25 to 3.00 and that did the trick!!!
You guys are great!!

Glad to be able to help... I can't recall HOW many times that little
quirk has spewed out blank paper (or labels) for me!
