Hello, I have a Geforce4 MX440 AGP Slot card. I have the
latest DirectX 9.0 installed. When I go to DXDIAG and
look under video settings..... I have Direct Draw
Acceleration Enabled, Direct 3D Acceleration enabled......
BUT, I have AGP Texture Acceleration "greyed out". and the
disabled portion tab is greyed out as well. I know this
use to be there and enabled before. Can anyone tell me
how to reenable this? I went into bios and AGP is enabled.
I do NOT have a pci card installed. The reason I have
noticed this is because I recently tried playing a game
called Battlefield Vietnam that I use to play alot but
stopped for the past few months. I tried playing it and
everytime the game loads, the splash screen comes on the
dektop, but the game never starts and the splashscreen
goes away. However the game is under my "running
prorgams" when I press control/alt/delete to see whats
running. I can try to load the game multiple times only
to have the splash screen go away again and have multiple
games running via cntrl/alt/del. Anyway, I think this AGP
thing via DXDIAG may have something to due with it, I
dunno. PLease help or give feed back, thanks.
