dvdr firmware problem

hello please can you help mei updated the firmware on my dvd drive and now i
cant copy any disks i am useing cyberlink power2go 4 when i try to copy it
says the path name downloads to
copy\philips_pbdv1628b00_pbdv1628g00_dvdr1628p1_upgrade_to_q2.3\philips
dvdr1628p1_upgrade_to_q2.3 infomation.pdf is to long to burn to disc please
shorten the path name then try again. can anyone help whith this or can i
rollback the firmware.i do not know much about computers please help thankyou

The name length issue is NOT firmware related. However, it IS related
to the format you choose to burn the CD in.

As the message says, shorten the path or chose a different format, your
CD burner manuals should have some explaination of filename (including
the path) length limits, as well as available formats.

You were pushing 110 characters in that name, some CD formats limit the
total to 63. Some burning programs will automaticly truncate names.
