dvd viewer needed

I have Roxio DVD Player but it won't play DVD movies on my computer. I
also have a NEC 3550A DVD burner that works fine every other way. I
can see the movie is good through DVD Shrink, but I'm not interested in
copying anything, just watching videos on my PC. Is there a freeware
DVD player I can try just to see if this Roxio is broken?

install the Fraunhofer codec from there then windows media player should be
able to play dvds...

What happens when you try with Roxio player?

This software is adware. It wants to install an ad server. No thanks.
