DVD-RW udfs.sys

I recently fitted a DVD burner to my XP PC, and all worked
well till I tried to use DRV-RW's instead of DVD-Rs. The
machine refuses to recognise the presence of a disk. IN
the MS Knowledge Base, article 818733 explains that you
need an updated udfs.sys, but unfortunately it isn't
available for download! Does anyone know where I can get
this file, or have any other fix?

I believe the article says you should contact Microsoft PSS (Product support
services) to get the hotfix. you can get there numbers from the following
