DVD-ROM won't stay closed

My Toshiba SD-M1212 DVD player won't stay closed. It would not open for
awhile and I figured out that the drawer was jammed. When I freed it up it
opened right away, but now it won't stay closed. Can anyone help me with
this?

Hi,

When you freed the drawer/CD tray, have you broken anything inside the
DVD-rom?
If yes, no need for a repair, just buy a new one as it is cheap today.
