help my dvd wont play dvd it used to now every disc i put in is either currupt or damaged WHAT ALL OF THEM? WHEN I INSERT A DISC MY DVD DRIVE TURNS INTO A CD ROM DRIVE WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT?
i have tried everything the only thing thats different from when it worked before is a new motherboard and processor there are no driver probs the only yhing i can think of is a codec error or maybe the drive is rubbish it is only 3 months old

I asked for support from Microsoft and within less then 24 hours they e-mailed a procedure whic
solved my problem (XP was not recognizing my cd writer)
To get the support go to START>CONTROL PANEL>HELP AND SUPPORT CENTRE
GET SUPPORT>GET HELP FROM MICROSOF
You will have to get .net passport to get this help. Prompts will direct you
