good morning,
bought a new computer 10 days ago and dvd play was beautiful using WMP.
yesterday i put a dvd in and hit use media center by mistake to play it. an
installation window came up to install media center on my computer, which
said it will take 5 to 10 min. i stopped it and just x'ed it out instead of
using button on bottom of window that says finish to stop it. now, when i try
to play a dvd it is choppey and won't play right. what should i do ? thought
i might need to finish install of media center to fix it, but am checking
here first......thanks much....bob

Probably the best thing to do would be to use System Restore (Start->All
Programs->Accessories->System Tools) to go back prior to starting MCE. You
could try asking in the Media Center group as to why it should effect DVD
playback. :/
