Hi,

What is the difference, please, between DVD+R and DVD-R (or RW)? When
purchasing media, is one preferable to the other?

Thanks...
Rick

RW means it is rewritable.... R means it's write one time only, not
erasable.

Whether you go for +R or -R really depends on what you want to play it on
afterwards. Check what your DVD standalone player supports at

=========================
My burner only sees and burns to DVD+ whether it's a R/W or a R only. I
would love to know the difference between the + and - myself. My step
daughter's computer only sees DVD-R/RWs, mine only sees DVD+R/RWs.
