DVD file format change

I made a three minute DVD showing samples of my acting experience with a SONY
RDR-VX530 recorder. works well at home.
When I tried to upload it to the agent on the internet, he could not see it.
The say that I need to change the format into MPG-1, or MPG-2, or mov. file
format.
The recorder spec reads: Video recording format: MPEG Video.

Is there an easy way I can make this change?

If MPG2 is acceptable to your agent, then your task is simple, since
DVD files are in fact MPEG2 files.

Use Explorer to view the contents of your DVD, and you should see one
or more VOB files. If you have an MPEG2 decoder on your computer, then
you should be able to play any of these VOB files and identify the one
(I expect only one for a 3-minute DVD) that contains your required
clip. If you don't have an MPEG2 decoder, download and install Media
Player Classic and use it to play your VOB file.

Once you've identified the appropriate VOB, COPY/PASTE it to your HDD,
then rename it, changing the VOB suffix to MPG. That should be all you
need - you now have a proper MPG2 file.
