DVD Error

K

KAMPUZ

My DVD player doesn't work because it says that I'm using
an analog device in my video card. It's a protection
agaist ilegal copies. The question is that I'm not using
any other device in my video card so, what can I do to
fix this problem?

Thanks

Hi Kampuz,
Do you have a Nvidia video card with TV out and are using driver version
41.09 or later? If so there are additional macrovision checks in this driver
and later which can cause you to get errors like this if the TV out unit on
the video card does not fully support macrovision protection.
If this applies to you, try installing an older version of the display
driver or you can disable TV out functionality with Rivatuner.
