dvd error message says no decoder instaled

my dvd player pioneer dvd rom dvd119r was ok till
yesterday then it started saying i couldnt play dvds
because i had no dvd decoder installed what happened to
my old decoder wheres it gone and how do i get it back
can anyone please help me
