I downloaded a dvd decoder and my windows media player still wont play dvd's even though the decoder said it was windows xp compatible. And I tried putting the dvd in both my drives. the decoder i downloaded was mpegable. What should i do to play my dvd's, I also tried changing the resolution but it didn't work

My suggestion is: Install and use a dedicated DVD program. PowerDVD works
for me. Here is a link to their site.
