DVD Drives

Hi all
Have just purchased Cucusoft software to convert my AVI files to DVD.
I found that my PC does not have a DVD writer so I can't burn the converted files.
I have looked on the web and there is an endless choice of external DVD drives at various prices.
Any one out there who can advise best buy?

These two drives seem pretty good, depending on if you need an IDE or SATA drive for your PC (both of them are made by Pioneer):

They are OEM drives, so you'll need a cable to go with them if you don't have a spare already

I'll quickly point out that both those drives Ian is suggesting are 'internal' drives ... which would be better for you if you know how to use a screwdriver.

It really is easy to replace your existing drive.

Well these drivers are the best known in the world.... There must be some problem in hdd...

I should have asked you experts what means (IDE) (SATA)!!
I have ordered the Pioneer DVR-212BK 18X SATA DVD±RW DL Int.

PS I think need to increase my RAM also as I keep getting the message Virtual Memory Low' etc. But have no idea how to go about it.
