DVD Drive Problem

HI:

When I insert a CD into the DVD drive of an HP desktop with Windows 98 it now just spins and does not read the CD. It locks up in the spin position.

Any idea as to what could cause this problem?

Try going to cdrlabs.com forums and asking there. They specialize in optical drives.
