DVD decoder error

I recently upgraded to Xp, I tried playing a DVD on my player and I get a decoder error. I used to have the adaptec progam on my hard drive before reformatting

Any Suggestions
 
Reinstall WinDVD, PowerDVD or whichever program you had with the DVD codecs.
