DVD/CD writer door

My door to open up my cd writer/dvd player will not open
when i push the button. I wanted to put a disk in and it
will not open. This is nerve racking. thanks;

Nutty Netty;
Try this also. Straighten part of a paper clip and push it into the
real small hole on the front of your cd/dvd player. You might want to power
off your machine fist.
