Can I burn AVI's to DVD's. What freeware program will burn to DVD's

I'm afraid you have to convert avi's to dvd format first, and then them
burn to dvd's. And there are may program can do this. Such as:
WinAVI Video Converter http://www.winavi.com/avi-to-dvd.htm (free to

If you're just trying to burn the AVI files to DVD directly, not changing
them from AVI format (which isn't playable on set-top DVD players), use
CDBurnerXPPro:
