I'm afraid you have to convert avi's to dvd format first, and then them
burn to dvd's. And there are may program can do this. Such as:

If you're just trying to burn the AVI files to DVD directly, not changing
them from AVI format (which isn't playable on set-top DVD players), use
CDBurnerXPPro:
