I have a DVD-RW that I can't use windows XP Pro to copy files from HDD

need to change the handling I think in the registory back to windows
instead off what ever program installed with the DVD
Can anyone help me on this
Thanks

What I wish to do and have done b4 in explorer is to copy files from my
HDD to DVD to keep them as backups

As Mike said, XP does not have the native tools to write to DVD. 3rd party
software is needed. What did you use before, and why isn't it available
now?
