DVD Burner/Writer ??? I Dunno

I am wanting to purchase a DVD Burner. . .I think.

All I want it for is so that I can make backup copies of the DVD's I
currently have in my collection. Can someone please lead me in the right
direction. I just don't want to spend extra money on something I don't need
or purchase something that won't do the job.
