DVD burner only recognizes regular Cd's and CD-ROMs!

My Dvd burner is only recognizing CDs and CD roms, but
not a single dvd. Has my drive conked out, or is there
something I can do. It's less than a month old, if that
helps.

I think that your DVD player has not been set for a region. You can set this by going into My computer<View system Info<Hardware<device manager<cdroms<properties and dvd region
