duplicating of photos when sending e-mail

STILL not resolved my problem.
When sending photos have clicked on a photo to send from my icons, attached
and sent. Takes ages to send--why?? Have clicked on the sending message to
find that the attachment is being sent along with a LARGE photo in the Text
space in the e-mail.. PC World at Chichester do not have a clue as to how to
help---anyone out there had this problem and solved it??? You cannot reduce
the photo because in the send part of the process it just looks as if you
sending only an attachment as per normal--it is ONLY when you check the
Sending page you can see the problem

Not sure what the issue is. Windows Mail elects to display any photo
that is included as an attachment. I assure you that the photo is not
actually included twice.
Are you trying to reduce the file size of the sent photo?
If so, open the photo in Windows Photo Gallery (which should be the default),
select "E-mail", which will then give you a size selection.

Hi Gary
Yes have done this and gone onto smallest selection but message always come
up 'there is already a page open close before sending' when i do not have a
page open!!! therefore I come to a dead end and go the other route of
clicking on to the 'paperclick' to send an attachment and it is there that I
do not have any size options. Any suggestions??
cheers

I can't duplicate your error message, which is probably because
WLM is my default email program (instead of WM).
WM is very fussy about having an attachment open in another
program.
