You might finding the duplicates with Find duplicates query wizard, then
deleting the records you don't want.

Hi!
It`s an adresslist with about 8000 names, numbers, fax numbers and so on.
Any thoughts?

You can also make a query with Group by option to get a list of unique
names, and then insert result into new table
