I have discovered that I have numerous system restore files that are
byte for byte identical. (There are nine copies of one of them.) Can I
safely delete all but one of them and still be able to use the system
restore feature of Windows XP? If I can, which one do I keep? Thank
you in advance for all replies.

Hi

You can delete all but the last System Restore checkpoint - run Disk
Cleanup, then click on the More Options tab. Under System Restore click on
Clean up.
