Duplicate Parameter

I have a report based on a query asking for the Department. I type in the
Department and then it asks me again for Department. In viewing the report
the Department Name (in this case Finance) does not show. Please help,
thanks.
 
Can you provide the SQL view of your query? Do you want to be asked twice?
What makes you think the department name should display in the report? If you
open the report's record source in datasheet view, do you see expected
records?
 
Thanks for your time, I just recreated the report and it is working fine now.
