Duplicate Name exists on the network

My Windows 2003 Domain DC insists that there is a duplicate name on the network. There is not. As you can imagine this is causing havoc with my authentication. It is my only DC.

try nbtstat -n in the command prompt to see if there are any name conflicts.

Examine your WINs domain records for clues. Search the KB for keyword "rogue". There is information in the KB on issues like this. I expect it happend as a result of an upgrade, dcpromo or not properly retiring an old server
