duplicate host names with different IP's

I'm having a problem with DNS and I need some assistance.
I have a server with a local IP of 192.x.x.x and it has a
NAT of 10.x.x.x. I need to have two host records for my
servers with both of these IP addresses in order for my
client pc's, which are on the 10.x.x.x network, to connect
and recognize the servers. The problem I'm having is that
I had another host record with the servers name with the
10.x.x.x address (the 192.x.x.x host record is already
listed) and the next day the 10.x.x.x records are gone.
I'm not sure if it's possible to have two host records
with the same server name with different IP's in DNS. If
that's not possible, does anybody have a suggestion to my
problem?

Thanks for your time,
Ron

This could be a good thing and a bad thing having both registered. Hence,
it's normally recommended not to run a mutlihomed DC due to this
registration characteristics. Clients on one subnet may get the wrong IP
when querying and won't be able to access the server.

Question, you have a 10. subnet and a 192. subnet. Is there a NAT server
between them or is it routed? Or are these two subnets on the same server
and it's a NAT?

There are registry modifications to make this work.
