duplicate entry

On startup, the following message appears as the user
names come on

"A duplicate name exists on the network"

Your assistance would be most welcome

Do you have more than one computer networked together?If
so then one of the other computers on the network use the
same name (user) as the main computer.If it's by
design,get used to it,if not change one of the names with
a capital (ie:John,JOHN)if you don't network go to
control panel,network connections,and delete the network
connection that you do not use to access the
internet.
