This morning I got 3 of the same emails twice (3 from New York Times and 3
from University of Texas at Tyler> Why is this? I got some kind of message
that said:
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Karen\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook pst couldn't be accessed. Data error (cyclic
redundancy check). It wouldn't let me delete the extra 2 NY Times emails
because above message came up.

Also, tried to download critical Office update and it was unsuccessful
without any type of error message. Help, please, I'm computer challenged.
Thanks, Karen

From a fairly clean start (hold the Shift key down while you login to
Windows so nothing starts automatically) run CHKDSK on your hard drive. Let
it correct any errors. Run SCANPST.EXE on your PST. Try again. You may be
having a hard drive issue.
