Duplicate DNS IP's

I am getting duplicate DNS IP addresses Some have 3 and
four names associated with one IP. How do I get to the
bottom of this, and what can I do to clean it up w/o
hurting anyone on the network.

Enable scavenging of stale resource records and/or set up reserved IP
addresses in DHCP.
