Duplicate calendar items after ActiveSync

When I sync my pocket PC using Activesync with my desktop Outlook, often
Outlook will generate many duplicate calendar events. I can't figure out how
to fix this, and also, it seems Outlook should have a method for finding
these duplicates and presenting them to me to fix. How can I go about
dealing with this? Thanks!
