Duplicate and Triple Emails

I start to get duplicates of every email sent to me. Then it goes to triple.
All the emails come one after another. What can I do to stop this?

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of mail account(s)? When
you get the multiple copies, is it of *all* your mail, or just the mail
that is new? Do you get the copies during the same send/receive, or on
separate send/receives?
