Dungeon Siege

Hi. I have two computers, one is '98, the other XP. The
two computers have Internet access using a high-speed
cable modem and a Linksys router. On the '98 machine, we
can play multiplayer with Dungeon Siege. On the XP
machine, the game says "Loading Multiplayer Game", but
when it is done loading, it reverts back to Multiplayer
menu (no error messages, it just doesn't run the game).

We can play a game on our network, but not on the
Internet.

Can anyone help us with this problem? Thanks...

Hi Kay,

Call Linksys Tech Support: 1-800-326-7114, and ask them to
either setup a "DMZ" to bypass the built-in firewall, or open the
necessary ports in the router with you. Here's the List of all Ports
used by Dungeon Siege: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=320020
